In Latin Salvia (Sage) means “salvation”. This unique plant is traditionally used to treat inflammation of throat and mouth. Sage has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, soothes inflamed tissues and increases resistance to infection. Sage is recommended for use at the first sign of cold or flu to relieve sore throat and fight respiratory infections.
